One World Hotel by Brianne Jasmin Aeria

Brianne Jasmin Aeria has the privilege of enjoying the luxury of this amazing hotel and leaves feeling at one with the world.

One World Hotel is about a 45 minute drive from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and 15 minutes away from KL Sentral. This hotel, located in Petaling Jaya, has 483 rooms and is adjoined to one of the more famous shopping malls in Petaling Jaya, 1 Utama Shopping Centre.

I was put up in the newly refurbished junior suite. The minute I opened my hotel room door I was greeted by a delightful interior mix of modern contemporary design fused with a local touch. The room did not require me to put my keycard into the slot as it worked with the aid of a motion sensor which also triggered the lights and air-conditioner as soon as I entered. The room is spacious. Guests go through a living room and a desk area on the right before entering the bedroom. The bathroom is divine with a shower area and a bathtub to match. Full bathroom amenities are included. There is a choice of seven types of pillows available, such as super soft feather pillows, wool pillows and buckwheat pillows.

I had a pampering session arranged at Sanctuary@one, located at level 2 of the hotel. The spa offers various treatments such as scrubs, massages and facials. Since I wanted a firm massage I was told to go for the signature massage. After choosing of your massage, there are four types of massage oils to then pick. The massage was heavenly and left me loose-limbed and relaxed. One World Hotel is one of the few hotels that offer four outdoor tennis courts for guests and one can also take a dip in their 25m outdoor swimming pool. There is also a kiddy pool with water slides. There are also aerobics, sauna and steam rooms available, as well as a fully equipped gym.
